Imani Bradford is a nurse, senior biomedical science student, and the founder of Solo Stork, a maternal health advocacy network supporting single pregnant women and mothers.
Her mission was born from personal experience, facing stigma as a single pregnant woman and surviving severe postpartum preeclampsia just one week after giving birth. She’s turned her story into a call for action, working with March of Dimes, Maternity Care Coalition, and advocating to policymakers at the state and federal level to improve maternal health outcomes.
From the Pennsylvania State Capitol to nonprofit galas, Imani brings an authentic, powerful voice to conversations on maternal health, resilience, and the systems that shape women’s lives.
